How to Turn Off Autocomplete in Google Search?

Some users want to turn off autocomplete feature in Google Search, which a feature when you type in something in the search box and Google will provide query suggestion. For example if you type the word "c" and it will come up with camera etc. Follow the basic instruction below to turn off the query suggestion or autocomplete feature:

1. Go to Google (www.google.com) homepage.
2. Click on Search Preferences next to search bar.
3. Scroll down to the bottom part of the web page and look on the Query Suggestion category. Check the box for the option Do not provide query suggestions in the search box.
4. Select the Save Preferences button to finish the process.
